Yes! We are happy to arrange local pickup at our farm in Marion, NY. Pickup is by appointment only. In fact, pickup is the only option we offer for our goslings (we do not ship live birds).

We currently raise American Buff, French Toulouse, Embden geese, and crosses of these breeds. All are pasture-raised on our small farm in Marion, NY.

We started raising geese in 2020 with our first group of 5 American Buff goslings, mostly out of curiosity and a desire to become more self-sufficient on our small farm. Morgan knew he wanted to raise birds of some kind, and after researching chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys, we settled on geese. What began as a fun experiment quickly turned into a passion!

We love geese because they are incredibly beautiful, entertaining, and friendly birds (most of them!). They’re excellent grazers that help keep our pasture managed naturally. They’re extremely well suited for life in upstate NY. They manage just fine in our cold winters, often choosing to nestle down into the snow banks instead of sheltering in their cozy house. They can be quite loud at times, and always alert us to anything they see as a threat (they really like to yell at big trucks and motorcycles driving by). We really enjoy just watching them, feeding them treats (fresh lettuce is their favorite), and overall just being around them!

One of the best parts about having geese is the eggs. Goose eggs are perfect for eating, baking, and, as we recently discovered, making frozen custard!

Raising our own geese allows us to offer fresh, high-quality eggs and healthy goslings while sharing a small piece of farm life with others.

Our self-serve farm stand is now open to the public as of August 2026! You might be able to catch a glimpse of our geese roaming the pasture while you’re here (the Embdens are bright white and easy to spot!).

We currently accept cash and Venmo at our self-serve farm stand.

We require a minimum order of 2 goslings for birds under 6 weeks old.

Goslings are highly social flock animals. Raising a single gosling alone can lead to stress, loneliness, and behavioral issues. They do much better — and are happier and healthier — when they have at least one companion.

We occasionally make exceptions for 1 gosling if you already have other geese or ducks at home. We’re also happy to discuss individual situations — just let us know in your reservation request!
